Paris Grand Slam Result

7th February 2024

Last weekend saw Joshua Green compete at the illustrious Paris Grand slam, with Paul Green at mat side. There where 69 competitors in the -73kg category alone where Joshua drew Otari Kvantidze of Portugal in his first fight.

In a cagey first round affair Joshua lost via Hansoku-make as a result of 3 shidos, 2 a half minutes into the golden score period (Total mat time: 6 minutes 22 seconds). Joshua will now attend the Paris grand Slam camp, which is widely regarded as one of the toughest camps on the IJF Calendar.
