
Konarakai Judo Club (“Small Oaks”) are an IJA affiliated Judo Club based in Derry, Ireland.
The objective of the club is to create a sustainable pipeline of athletes with the skills and characteristics to compete on the International stage at senior level.
A technical focused class, focusing on the basics of gripping, breaking balance and movement.
Juniors (5 – 14 years old): 7.00pm – 8.00pm.
Seniors (14 + years old ) : 8.00pm – 9.30pm.
A Class designed for players who aspire to compete at the national competitions, building a core group of players to travel and compete at least 3 times per year.
Juniors (5 – 14 years old): 7.00pm – 8.00pm.
A Class designed for complete newcomers to judo. This creates a comfortable atmosphere with fellow beginners easing yourself into the fundamentals of movement & throwing!
Seniors (16+ years old): 8.00pm – 9.00pm.
A Randori class, focused on building the cardio required for judo in a free flowing practice.
Juniors (5 – 14 years old): 7.00pm – 8.00pm.
Seniors (14 + years old ) : 8.00pm – 9.30pm.
A Randori Class, with a high tempo. Usually 8 x 4 mins Tachi Waza alongside 6 x 3 mins Ne Waza. Please see Facebook for confirmed time and day as it varies between Saturday & Sunday.
